Campori this year is held from 12-14 Oct at Permata Camp Resort, Alor Gajah, Malacca.
Packing started as early as 2 days before so that we have enough time to buy anything
that we don't have. Mainly, disposable rain coat and head-to-toe shampoo.
All excited to go! The only anxiety is about being away from home.
How to sleep at night? The only consolation is sleeping time is at 12.30am.
She'll be too tired to miss home.
The program.
In the morning of 12th Oct, Daddy still can't believe that she's going for the Campori.
First time away from home (worry).
The 2 drama queens saying goodbye. Last hug, last touch...
Atok joined in to see her off.
A little helping hand from Atok with shoe lace...
Breakfast in the car... as usual.
We finally arrived at the school, 7.30am. Bus departs at 8.00am.
Last shot for the road. Mummy tried to look calm and steady.
Actually, very worried and apprehensive to let her go.
It's her own decision to go for this trip.
Walking off...
Looking back...
Gone into the school. Mummy hanging outside the school like a hawk!
Going, going, gone. Sob, sob!!!
3 DAYS LATER... Little Missy is back home!! :)
Happy and tired and relieved.
Nadia exclaimed, "First dinner at home!"
After Mummy and Daddy waited at the school gate for almost an hour,
she finally emerged from one of the buses. Tired looking but very excited to
see us. Loads of stories to tell about the games, activities, new songs... Didn't stop
talking throughout the whole journey home.
At this point, she decided that she won't go for next year's Campori.
Reason being, she missed the family too much.
2 free t-shirts from the camp. Should've chosen the XS one.
S was still way too big.
So glad to be home :)
