Beijing Highlights - Day 2, 30th Nov

It's all about the Great Wall today.

After almost 3 hours van ride - we arrived at Mutianyu, Great Wall of China

Shopping started at the foothill already.

Took a skylift to the wall.

Our tour guide, Catherine (in pink) leading us up the wall. 

Had to pass 6 Towers to complete the climb.

Not an easy climb. Nadia gave up at the 4th Tower

but Daddy wouldn't let her. After much persuasion, 

she managed to arrive at the 'finishing line' like all of us

Beijing Highlights - Day 1, 29th Nov

First stop - The Egg; Beijing Arts & Cultural Centre

Walking distance to Tiannamen Square.

Typical tourist shot in Beijing! Just across the road, that's entrance to Forbidden City

Next, Trishaw ride at Hutong near the Bell Tower.

Visited somebody's house - a typical house with courtyard at the Hutong.

At the night food market, nearby Wangfujing - sells anything from scorpions and 

star fish on a stick to goat's testicals

Walking back to the hotel.

What a day, covered so much. Take a look at ourselves. 

It's time to whine down... 

And sip on some junk gassy drinks.

Tomorrow is the visit to Great Wall of China. 

Feathered Friends at KL Bird Park

At the entrance... A trip initiated by Nadia. 

She couldn't stop talking about it after visiting the Bird Park 

just the week before.

We were greeted by a peacock that flew over our heads 

near the entrance to the park. 

Besides birds, there were also fishes that the children (and adult) can feed.

Let's see where are we now?
