Road Trip to Singapore

Car gave us a little trouble... decided to stop by Melaka town
for Chicken Rice Ball. Lunch was yummy. Car trouble set us back at least 3 hours.

Arrived JB (Adik thought JB stands for Justin Bieber!)
One of the police stations that Atok used to hang out.

The jetty that daddy used to take boat rides with the family.

Daddy's old school - JB English College

Road behind the palace heading to Daddy's old home.
He often rode bicycle in the dark on this lane.

Back gate of the palace, directly opposite of the old JB house.

The old house - standing tall, proud and empty?

Surrounded by nice houses at the back and on the side.

The house lot number. Think daddy said it used to be no. 1095.

Heading into Singkapoh! At the immigration. We are sure that we've entered another country
as soon as we see all sign boards in English.

Finally, almost 10 hours ride - we arrived at our hotel.
Small but enough for us :)

Not even half an hour after we've settled in - we left for our first 'food hunt' in
Singapore. East Coast Park Seafood.

The plan was to feed the kids with junk and then Mummy and Daddy
can have a nice time savouring Chilli Crabs!

Ate at No Signboard restaurant - overlooking a waterfront. Nice, very windy.
We ate while the kids ran about on the field and 'seaside'.

Yummy crabs, crispy sotong, bread and vege.

Daddy thought the crabs were super-fresh.

Walking back to our car.

Hotel nowadays so canggih, greet you on the TV screen.

Adik loved the bathtub - soaking herself in it every morning and night.

Zzzzz.... Tomorrow, shopping day!
